Site Planner
Researches and synthesizes climate, environment, transit, demographics, and neighborhood context into a unified site brief — the foundation every project needs before zoning, programming, or design begins.
When to invoke
Use when starting a new project, evaluating a site for acquisition, or answering “what should we know about this location?”
Scope
Accepts: Address or location · Scope (full brief, single domain, or comparative study) · Candidate sites for feasibility comparison
Produces: Integrated site brief (climate, transit, demographics, neighborhood character) · Cross-domain findings and design takeaways · Comparative site matrix with recommendation
Hands off to: NYC Zoning Expert for zoning and regulatory analysis · Workplace Strategist for programming

- Agent: Site Planner
- Plugin: Site Planning — Environmental Analysis, Mobility Analysis, Demographics Analysis, History
How it works
The Site Planner takes an address and returns the analysis that should inform every first design conversation. Rather than producing four separate reports, it synthesizes climate, transit, demographics, and neighborhood character into a single, integrated site brief — one that names the opportunities, flags the constraints, and gives the design team clear takeaways before a single line is drawn.
The agent runs its four underlying skills in parallel — environmental analysis for climate and hazard conditions, mobility analysis for transit and walkability, demographics for the surrounding population and market, and history for the neighborhood’s built context and planned development. Once those are complete, it connects the findings across domains: a flood zone adjacent to a transit hub changes the calculus; a gentrifying neighborhood next to a historic district means design review scrutiny. These cross-domain connections are what the individual reports can’t surface on their own.
For comparative feasibility studies, the Site Planner can run briefs for multiple candidate sites and produce a side-by-side matrix with a clear recommendation.
